A Guest Lecture on “Adaptive Professional: Mastering EQ, SQ and Financial Resilience for Industry Success” was organised by ACC on 10 September 2026. The online guest lecture by Dr. Anju Singh provided B.Com students with valuable insights into the importance of emotional intelligence, spiritual values, empathy, and financial resilience in professional development.
The online guest lecture titled “Adaptive Professional: Mastering EQ, SQ and Financial Resilience for Industry Success,” organized by Amity College of Commerce, Amity University Gurugram, on 10th September 2026, aimed to equip B.Com students with essential personal and professional skills for industry success. Conducted by Dr. Anju Singh, Dean, Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery, Mumbai, the session sought to highlight the significance of Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Spiritual Quotient (SQ), empathy, personal values, and financial resilience. It also aimed to encourage self-awareness, responsible decision-making, adaptability, and continuous learning through interactive tests and activities.
Through interactive tests and activities focusing on personal values, emotional awareness, and empathy, the session encouraged students to reflect on their strengths, behaviour, and decision-making abilities. The lecture emphasized that professional success required more than academic knowledge, highlighting the importance of adaptability, ethical conduct, financial understanding, and continuous self-development. Overall, the session enhanced students’ awareness of the competencies required to become well-rounded and adaptable professionals.
