The guest lecture titled “Recent Trends in Cosmetic Industry” was organised by the Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Gurugram, on 25 September 2026, as part of Innovation Week 2026. The session featured Mr. Prakash Kumar, Head – R&D, Manufacturing & Production, Indopol Business Mart, Bawana, Delhi. It aimed to familiarise undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students with current trends, innovations, and technological developments in the cosmetic industry.
The lecture focused on providing industry-oriented insights into research and development, manufacturing, and production practices while highlighting the practical applications of pharmaceutical sciences in cosmetic product development. It also aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements and create awareness about emerging career opportunities in the sector.
